On some forums, the limits of magic are controversial. There are a few threads (some based on race) that include lists of spells, potions, reagents, and other magical things used in Candlewick. These are not supposed to be rigid, and there is definitely room for creative alteration.

Candlewick Academy has many hallways that the lighter creatures roam. They are decorated by red carpet, gold chandeliers, and marble columns. The darker creatures hover around the Chambers underground, but occasionally stray into the upper region.

This large, lavish room is decorated in the front where the light creatures eat by white columns, gold and crystal chandeliers, plush red carpet, and dark wood. In the back where the dark creatures eat, it is adorned by black marble, silver chains and candles, and mahogany wood.

This is where most Gemini students can be seen. Feel free to check out a book.

When the teachers are out to lunch, students sometimes stray into their classrooms for their own purposes.

This is where students go after a fight they just can't dust themselves off after. Creatures show up here with all of the worst injuries; sprained hooves, broken wings, and scorch marks.

Students meet here whenever Headmistress Candlewick has an announcement. It is commonly used as a place for people to plan to meet up.

This is the hangout spot for spirits and demons. Skulls and torture devices and medieval-looking chairs adorn the room where students come to talk and sulk.

In the darkest corner, down the longest hallway lies the detention hall, where the worst students are punished.

This is where students learn general knowledge things about the human world and learn how to pass as a human.

These classes are for Azemen, Werewolves, Shapeshifters, and other creatures that regularly change form.

Creatures such as satyrs, merfolk, harpies, and centaur study here.

Each element studies in a different class, and each one studies how to resist other elements and control weather.

These classes are for sirens, gremlins, brownies, and other creatures who have artistic gifts.

Creatures using dark magic or with dark personalities by nature such as necromancers, succubi, and gargoyles study here.

Candlewick Academy is on the other side of the lake from Raven Hill village. It is a calm, cool place for students to relax or fish.

These woods border Candlewick Academy and stretch far into northern Pennsylvania where the Academy is located. They are dark, cold, and the perfect place for werewolves to get away or for vampires to hunt, unless they prefer a more human blood source.

This is a long, winding trail that leads to Raven Hill. It is heavily supervised by teachers, predominately centaurs and lamia, to keep Candlewick Academy a secret.

This diner was 'humorously' named by the owner because of the town's frequent monster problems. It is a simple, nice diner, ironically frequented by students of Candlewick.

This cemetery is populated by many restless spirits, prompting the villagers to name it what they did because the ghosts just can't stay in their graves.

This is the most dangerous part of town. This is where the mercenaries that are aware of monsters hang out to sharpen their pitchforks. Daredevil creatures go here to test their skills at blending in with humans.

This is a tavern where creatures can go to talk in their natural forms with other monsters from all over town. No humans come in, because it is heavily guarded.

The Boardwalk covering part of the shore of Phantom Lake, is where merchants set up shacks and sell their wares. Many candy stores and trinket shops are set up here.
